To Whom this may concern,
My name is Charles Bergstresser, I am the Captain of the Morris Mavericks
Hockey Team, along with my Assistant Captains, Nathan Christiuk, Cody
Fillion, Dale Lehmann and the entire Morris Mavericks High School Hockey
Team have got a challenge for all Zone 4 High School Hockey Teams.
As everyone knows Haiti was struck by a Earthquake about 2 weeks Ago.
Approximately 200,000 people are estimated dead and 2,000,000 are
homeless. Many Canadians are amongst the dead or missing....
We are all affected in one way or another and wanted to help out. We
contacted the MCC and they said that they are collecting 20,000 Hygiene
KITS. The contents in these KITS are things that everyone of us have and
use in our house everyday and totally take for granted. A list of the KITS
items is available @ [ http://www.mcc.org/kits ]www.mcc.org/kits .
The Morris Mavericks will be collecting these items to complete the KITS
until the end of February. We all have so much and are so fortunate to
live in Canada. There is strength in numbers and together we can make a
positive difference!
So, The Morris Maverick High School Hockey Team's CHALLENGE to ALL Zone 4
Hockey Teams is simple. Go on line and find out what is in these Kits and
collect these items, bundle them up and make KITS. The Winnipeg MCC OFfice
will forward them to Haiti.
Lets all get together and make a positive difference in the world!

Thanks for your support. If you have any questions please let me know.
Great idea guys!
The Pembina Tigers had a "TIGERS FOR HAITI" night at our home game last
Friday night vs. Miller with partial proceeds from the gate and 50/50
going to the Canadian Red Cross and their Haiti Earthquake Relief Fund.
The Tigers are pleased to announce that they will be sending a $100 cheque
to the Canadian Red Cross. Let's have other teams step up and follow the
lead of the Mavericks!
